EVENT PHOTOS — On Saturday, July 6th, 2024, the 20th Annual Hamptons Happening took place on the stunning estate of Kenneth and Maria Fishel in Bridgehampton, NY. This highly anticipated event, marking the start of the Hamptons summer season, was an evening of delicious tastings, exciting auctions, and heartfelt recognition.
Guests, including VIP ticket holders who arrived at 6pm, enjoyed exquisite dishes from top chefs and premier NYC area restaurants. The live and silent auctions added to the excitement, all in support of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF).
Thanks to events like this, SWCRF has invested over $120 million in groundbreaking cancer research. The evening honored:
- Arthur F. Backal with the Distinguished Hospitality Award
- Chef Francois Payard with the Distinguished Restauranteur Award
- Cheri Kaufman with the Distinguished Businesswoman Award
- Stephen Kliegerman with the Distinguished Business Real Estate Award
- Fern Mallis with the Fashion Cares Award
- DJ CherishTheLuv with the Distinguished Cancer Crusader Award
Chaired by Mark D. Friedman and Jamie Koff, with Bess Freedman as Co-chair and Erica Linden-Fineberg as Journal Chair, the event was a tremendous success, supported by a dedicated committee and generous sponsors.
