Guild Hall’s Annual Summer Gala on August 2, 2024, at its East Hampton campus, was a splendid celebration, drawing over 350 guests including Julian Schnabel and honorees Hilarie and Mitchell Morgan. The event featured a preview of Julian Schnabel: Selected Works from Home and showcased performances in the beautifully renovated spaces.
Notable attendees included Board Chair Marty Cohen, Executive Director Andrea Grover, and architect Peter Marino, among other luminaries from the art world like Laurie Anderson and Ross Bleckner. The evening commenced with cocktails in the Minikes Garden, followed by a special program in the Hilarie and Mitchell Morgan Theater, and an elegant dinner catered by Acquolina.
The gala successfully raised $950,000 to support Guild Hall’s mission, with a notable $140,000 raised in just under three minutes during a special fundraising challenge. The night concluded with guests dancing to music by DJ Mick, celebrating the continued success and impact of Guild Hall in the community.
