On the serene evening of August 21, 2024, art enthusiasts gathered at St. Luke’s Church Hoie Hall in East Hampton for a captivating “Meet the Artists” reception. This special event kicked off the festivities for the 23rd annual Box Art Auction benefiting East End Hospice. Attendees had the unique opportunity to preview exquisite artworks crafted from cigar and wine boxes, transformed into stunning pieces by over 85 talented East End artists. The gathering not only celebrated the creativity of the local art community but also highlighted their commitment to supporting East End Hospice’s vital services. The atmosphere was enriched with lively discussions, admiration for the art, and a shared sense of purpose as artists and art lovers alike came together to support a noble cause.
