The Sag Harbor American Music Festival 2024 was a fantastic celebration of diverse musical talent, held from September 26-29. Over 40 bands took center stage across multiple venues, delivering unforgettable performances. The festival opened with Escola de Samba Boom’s lively parade at Mash Park, kicking off the festivities in style. Notable performances included Sarah Gross opening for Teddy Thompson & Band at Bay Street Theater, Sandy Rogers joined by special guest Gene Casey, and Montauk’s Annie Trezza, who graced the Alley Stage with her full band.
Saturday was packed with energy as Julia King, Skappository, and R.O. Shapiro kept the crowd entertained. Inda Eaton, Gene Casey & The Lone Sharks, and the Excellent Jam Trio featuring Joe Delia, Klyph Black, and James Bernard brought the house down. Sunday’s highlights featured Quartet San Francisco, New Moon Acoustic Blues Trio, Foster Europe Band, and Alex Lucero Band. The festival wrapped up with a standout performance by The Resilient at Bay Street Theater, leaving Sag Harbor buzzing with excitement and musical joy.
