The Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) 2024 turned the East End into a cinematic paradise from October 4-14, celebrating its 32nd year with an 11-day extravaganza. The festival kicked off with the East Coast premiere of Martha, a documentary about Martha Stewart’s iconic career, directed by Long Island native R.J. Cutler. Audiences were treated to thought-provoking films, intimate conversations, and exclusive premieres from over 50 countries.
Special honorees included Liev Schreiber, awarded the Dick Cavett Artistic Champion Award, and Demi Moore, recognized for her Career Achievement in Acting. The festival’s Films of Conflict & Resolution program celebrated 25 years of impactful storytelling, while the Breakthrough Artist series highlighted rising talents like Malcolm Washington. With a grand finale featuring Nightbitch starring Amy Adams, HIFF 2024 was truly an unforgettable celebration of film, culture, and creativity.
