On October 6, 2024, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF Hamptons) celebrated its 31st annual Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk, uniting hundreds of animal lovers and their furry companions for a heartwarming two-mile walk. Held at the historic Mulford Farm in East Hampton, the event was part of ARF’s 50th anniversary celebration and was presented by The One Nine Three Group. The walk not only brought joy to participants but also raised crucial funds to support animals in need, with every step contributing to ARF’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming thousands of cats and dogs over the past five decades.
Attendees enjoyed a vibrant morning with live music by singer/songwriter Sandy Rapp, delicious refreshments like Dreesen’s Famous Donuts and Goldberg’s Bagels, and fun contests, including the ever-popular dog/companion look-alike competition, all emceed by Isaac Mizrahi. There was even a special blessing of the animals by Father Ben Shambaugh. The event featured the ARF Mobile Adoption van, where visitors could meet adoptable pets. The day was filled with smiles, wagging tails, and a strong sense of community, all for a great cause. With generous contributions from sponsors and participants, ARF continues its impactful work, saving animals one paw at a time.
