The highly anticipated EAST END COLLECTED8 opened at the Southampton Arts Center, marking the eighth installment of this celebrated exhibition. Curated by Paton Miller and, for the first time, Christina Mossaides Strassfield, the show brought together a fresh and dynamic selection of artists, each contributing to the thriving creative energy of the East End.
Attendees at the opening event experienced an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures, photography, video, drawings, and glass fusion, reflecting both the rich history and evolving artistic landscape of the Hamptons. With a mix of well-established and emerging artists, the exhibition highlighted the East End as an inspiring and ever-growing artistic hub.
The evening also included guided tours with the curators and panel discussions with participating artists, offering deeper insight into the works on display. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with the pieces through artist statements and biographies, enhancing their appreciation for the diverse talents featured.
The exhibition, which runs from February 1 to May 4, 2025, continues to celebrate and support the creative voices that make the Hamptons an internationally recognized art destination. EAST END COLLECTED8 once again proved to be a must-see event for art enthusiasts, collectors, and the local community.
