On a beautiful Saturday evening at LongHouse Reserve, the 9th Annual Andromeda’s Sisters event brought together an inspiring community of artists, advocates, and changemakers under the theme Art. Advocacy. Action. This year’s gathering continued its mission of uplifting women’s voices through powerful storytelling, bold performances, and vital conversations on women’s health, the Constitution, and the arts.
Founded by Kate Mueth in 2017, Andromeda’s Sisters has become a celebrated platform where theater and social justice intersect. The event honored the incredible work of The New York Women’s Foundation, recognizing their commitment to empowering women and communities throughout the city.
Guests enjoyed an evening of staged readings, panel discussions, and lively connection — all in the name of speaking truth to power. As in years past, the gathering served as both a celebration and a call to action, energizing attendees to continue driving creative and social change in their work and everyday lives.
