The East Hampton community came together in true summer spirit for the 77th Annual Artists & Writers Softball Game and its lively Pre-Game Party at The Clubhouse in East Hampton. 🎉⚾
The weekend kicked off on Friday, August 15th, with a festive pre-game celebration featuring live music by Josh Brussell, light bites, raffles, and a chance for old friends and new ones to gather in support of a beloved Hamptons tradition.
On Saturday, August 16th, Herrick Park hosted the historic game, where artists, writers, celebrities, and supporters took to the field in a spirited match filled with fun, competition, and community pride. Fans enjoyed classic ballpark favorites—hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream—while cheering on players under the summer sun.
Now in its 77th year, the event once again hit it out of the park, raising funds to support vital East End charities, including the Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center, Phoenix House Academy, The Retreat, and East End Hospice.
This enduring tradition not only showcased a spirited softball rivalry but also highlighted the heart of the Hamptons—neighbors coming together to make a difference. 💙
