This past weekend, Marders once again brought the East End together for its beloved annual Open House celebration in Bridgehampton. The three-day event invited families, friends, animal lovers, and holiday shoppers to enjoy live music, wildlife demonstrations, and meet-and-greets with adoptable pets from local shelters—all set against the magical backdrop of Marders’ winter-ready grounds.
On November 28th, guests kicked off the festivities with an appearance from the Southampton Animal Shelter’s adoptable dogs, followed by an educational Birds of Prey demonstration. The afternoon featured live music by the Steve Shaughnessy Trio, filling the garden center with warm, festive rhythms.
November 29th continued the fun with ARF Hamptons’ adoptable cats and another lively performance by the Steve Shaughnessy Trio.
The weekend wrapped on November 30th, highlighted by the Genesis Gospel Choir, more adoptable dogs from the Southampton Animal Shelter, another Birds of Prey presentation, and additional sets from the Steve Shaughnessy Trio.
