The East Hampton Historical Society hosted its much-anticipated 19th Annual Antiques & Design Show Benefit this past weekend at the historic Mulford Farm, drawing designers, collectors, and tastemakers to one of the East End’s most iconic summer events.
The festivities began with a sold-out Preview Cocktail Party on Friday, July 11, where guests got first access to an expertly curated selection of antiques, vintage decor, and fine art. Set beneath elegant white tents on the museum’s colonial-era grounds, the weekend-long event featured more than 50 dealers offering everything from classic American furniture and Art Deco treasures to one-of-a-kind textiles, garden ornaments, and period jewelry.
The Historical Society’s mission took center stage as Executive Director Steve Long highlighted the importance of antiques as a bridge to the past — especially as the Society prepares to open its new artifact storage center on the Mulford Farm property.
This year’s event was chaired by celebrated designer David Kleinberg, who lent his expertise and influence as Honorary Chair, with additional support from a who’s who of the design world serving on the show’s prestigious Design Committee.
As always, the show delivered not only stunning finds, but vital support for the Society’s preservation efforts and growing collection of over 20,000 historical artifacts.
