The South Fork Natural History Museum (SOFO) hosted its 36th Annual Summer Gala Benefit, Champions of the Wild: A New Generation, on Saturday, July 12 in Bridgehampton — a magical evening in support of SOFO’s mission to empower families through nature education and environmental stewardship.
The event honored notable conservation leaders including wildlife biologist and CBS host Jeff Corwin, Brady Hunter Foundation Director Joshua Fox, and longtime SOFO supporters and trustees Ray Iwanowski and Erica Noble. Liev Schreiber served as the evening’s Honorary Chair, with hosts Erica Noble & Ray Iwanowski, Kim & Greg Lippmann, and Susan & David Rockefeller, alongside special guest philanthropist Jean Shafiroff.
Guests enjoyed a sunset VIP cocktail reception with tastings from celebrated East End spots like Bell & Anchor, East Hampton Grill, Saaz, Golden Pear, Shellworks, Baron’s Cove, and more — followed by an inspiring benefit party that united community, cuisine, and conservation for a meaningful cause.
