OLA of Eastern Long Island marked 23 years of service with its highly anticipated Sabor cocktail fundraiser on July 17 at The Church in Sag Harbor. The evening was chaired by acclaimed actor and activist John Leguizamo, bringing star power to a night filled with flavor, culture, and community celebration.
Guests were treated to Mexican tapas crafted by La Fondita’s Chef Juan Gerónimo, award-winning mezcal cocktails from Dos Hombres, and wines from Wölffer Estate Vineyard. Live Latin jazz rhythms by the trio Latin Moon—featuring Carolina Fuentes (aka Mila Tina), Carolina Kohn, and Julie Bluestone—kept the energy high throughout the evening.
The event also featured a curated silent auction by Yubal Márquez Fleites of Arte Collective Contemporary & Fine Art, offering guests a chance to support OLA’s mission through artistic appreciation.
The night was a vibrant celebration of culture and advocacy, highlighting OLA’s ongoing commitment to uplifting and serving the East End Latino community.
