Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation Celebrated “Sweet 16th” Unconditional Love Gala with a Star-Studded Evening in Bridgehampton

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation hosted its Sweet 16th Unconditional Love Gala at an exclusive private estate on Ocean Road in Bridgehampton this July, bringing together celebrities, philanthropists, and animal advocates to support the shelter’s vital mission.

Hosted by comedians Hannah Berner and Des Bishop, the evening honored Alison Eastwood, founder of the Eastwood Ranch Foundation, as the Animal Welfare Honoree, while the Compassion to Action Award was presented to Jayni and Chevy Chase by longtime friend and animal advocate Christie Brinkley.

Entertainment by Soul System Orchestras, led by Skid Row’s Rob Affuso, electrified the night, while high-end auction items, including luxury travel packages and rare collectibles, helped raise over $700,000 for animal rescue and shelter services.

With the shelter facing a temporary closure for renovation this fall, the evening’s success marked a critical moment in securing ongoing support for SASF’s no-kill mission.

Notable attendees included Chevy Chase, Christie Brinkley, Alison Eastwood, Beth Stern, Luann deLesseps, and Jean Shafiroff, all showing up to champion second chances for animals in need.
