The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center Celebrates its Silver Anniversary with Get Wild! Gala

The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons marked its 25th Anniversary with the signature GET WILD! Gala at the Southampton Arts Center, raising over $200,000 to support its mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing wildlife across Eastern Long Island. Guests mingled over cocktails al fresco, met some of the Center’s rescued animals, and celebrated honoree Zelda Penzel. The evening, hosted by emcee Jill Rappaport and chaired by Ingrid Edelman, Jane Gill, Missy Hargraves, and Lisa Baron Schenker, commemorated a record year—over 1,800 animals assisted—and unveiled the Center’s new silver anniversary logo.
