Sag Harbor was filled with music, energy, and community spirit as the 2025 American Music Festival took over the village from September 25–28. The long weekend featured an incredible range of performances—from soul, jazz, folk, and blues to punk, rock, pop, and global fusion—bringing together local talent and world-renowned artists.
Free live music lit up outdoor stages across the village, with standout sets at Steinbeck Park, Marine Park, Sag Harbor Inn, The American Hotel, and more. Highlights included Samba Boom, Gene Casey & the Lone Sharks, Nancy Atlas, Rebecca McCartney, and Pete Mancini, while the festival’s centerpiece event at Bay Street Theater featured an unforgettable ticketed performance by three-time Grammy winner Cécile McLorin Salvant.
The weekend also saw jam sessions, intimate performances, and community gatherings, proving once again why the festival is one of the East End’s most beloved cultural traditions. From families dancing in the parks to music lovers catching sets at local spots, Sag Harbor truly sang with joy this year.
