The East Hampton Historical Society welcomed a record number of guests to its annual House & Garden Tour on November 29th, offering rare access to five distinctive homes across East Hampton. The weekend began with a sold-out cocktail party at a historic Devon Colony residence, setting the tone for an elegant and inspiring event.
Saturday’s tour highlighted a range of architectural styles—from a beautifully detailed Cove Hollow Farm Road home with gardens by Ed Hollander, to a stunning modern Bates-Masi design overlooking Georgica Pond, a sprawling Lily Pond Lane estate with ocean views, a restored 1780 Dayton Lane historic home, and an Alfred De Vido–designed Northwest Woods retreat immersed in nature.
Guests also visited two of the Historical Society’s often-overlooked treasures: the Town House and the Hook Schoolhouse on Main Street.
The Society noted its earliest sell-out to date and expressed gratitude to the homeowners who opened their doors for this long-standing East Hampton tradition.
